And Amy Winehouse gets what nobody else can do!

I reeeeally need to share this song with you guys.
Not that I'm obsessed for this song, and not a big deal that I've heard 8 times only times or that my itunes says I've listened it 30 times.. but I really like this song.
What's magic in this song? I don't know!
Amy Winehouse is a troubled, auto-destructive, addicted person... but she is so talented! Where does her voice come from?
Like Jack Johnson, Audioslave... her voice makes me feel relaxed. A hint if you're coming to NYC: listen to Amy Winehouse's song at 3 a.m in the morning, inside a cab. To watch the city, listening to her voice is an unique experience and everybody should try it! (Ok, maybe I'm going too far! LOL)
But you should check this song. For the first time I watched Amy Winehouse smiling (how rare is that!?). I think she should do it more often 'cause we can feel her energy, her peace, her smile.

"So he tries to pacify her, 'cause what's inside her never dies"

Today is the day and the year to get ALL your wishes done !

I've been thinking about ideas and things to write down on my blog, but I never go on and do it.
It's pointless to have a brainstorm and don't share them with the world. And that is the purpose of this blog (which means I'm failing at this point).
I promised myself (for some reason which I don't know what it is) that I would post at least once a week here. I haven't been doing, so I decided to wait 2011 and just like those love's promises, gym's promises (I'll go to the Gym on Monday)... I would compromise myself to come here every week and post a little bit of the crazy world of carolina!
So today is the second day of 2011. Enjoy it. Imagine it. Set goals. Promise yourself you'll go to the gym every day. Eat more. Eat less. Be happy.
But the most important thing: try to stick to it. Make efforts. Make it happen. Wave goodbye to laziness. Find out who you are, where you're going, what you're doing, what you'll do. Just make it happen!
Do you want a wardrobe full of clothes? Work for it.
Wanna lose weight? Sign up at the gym.
Want to study more? Find friends who might help you.
Want more money? Search in websites alternatives jobs or ways to get more money.
Here some things you should consider doing TODAY!

1. Take a piece of paper and write down all the good things you wish to do.
2. Daydream all of them. Each and every single wish.
3. Think about how you can achieve this goal. Measure them. Set deadlines.
4. Every day remind yourself of your goals and think how nice it would be if you had the life you've dreamed.
5. Focus. Focus. Focus.
6. Be happy.

I already have 3 pages of things I wanna realize in 2011! And I think: I only have 365 days to do all of them. But you know what? Let's go baby! I'm ready for it, and even if I'm not, on Demcember 31, 2011 you'll read here in the blog: "At least I've tried".

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The first post always should be named "dunno".

Yeah, I never know what I should write down on my first post. Not only on blogs but you know that kind of impact you wanna cause, and I am never sure how I should start.
It's like writing the first line of your essay. The frist line answering the question: "Define yourself". You never know how to start. And it's not different today!
AND I have to say that writing this blog in English is something new to me!
For those who doesn't know me (probably most of you guys don't) I am a brazilian girl living in the United States to learn English. So, I beg your patient when reading this blog! LOL
Just try to imagine yourself trying to transfer all your crazy and amazing thoughts from English to Russian.
Yeah baby, it is the same way for me! Google is still (sometimes) my best friend here! lol
I've been living in the United States for 10 months! But still not enough for a perfect English.
One of the good things of having a blog is to put out all the thoughts I've been having lately. Desire + homesick + new experiences + happiness + dificulties. All that lead to the person I am today. I've been  through a lot during this journey and the most important thing I've learned is STAY TRUE to yourself, your principles. Stay true to what you believe.
More posts, less posts you'll get to know me better, and the real intention of the existence of this blog.
Ooh.. I almost forgot... Call me Carol, not Carolina (I feel we're closer friends like that! lol)

Peace out,
world of carolina.
